This book I
started about two or three days ago. It has finally captured my
attention.
Short Synopsis
of where I am right now:
A man going
back to where he was born and raised until he was 2 trying to understand the
acts of his father. Where do I start? His father, out of the blue, on 4th
of July dressed in his army uniform, grabbed his guns and went to the town
and randomly shot 16 people. Only 1 sole survivor was left. Sole Survivor was at the time 16 now @ 30
something is the town mayor. The son
is now back in the small town after 15 years to see if he can find
answers/reasons to what made his father do what he did. As you can imagine, most of the townsfolk
blame the father however there is few, including the sole survivor, that
blames the situation and not the man.
