Morning of the Read Athon

Woke up prior to the alarm, in which was set for 6:40, ready to start this day.  I've been looking forward to this day for days!  After a very stressful work week, this has been a lifesaver for me so I can make it through.  

It's even better when I get to spend this day with my two favorite people, my best friend, Jenn and her wonderful husband, Richard. They introduced me to the Read Athon back on April 9, 2011. I participated in 4 Read Athons - April/Oct 2011, April/Oct 2012 and this will be my 5th RAT. 

I hope all who are participating enjoys your day immensely as I know I definitely will be. 

24 Hour Dewey's Read A Thon

Tomorrow is our Spring Read A Thon that I am absolutely looking forward to. I have brought 14 books to pick from and out of the 14 three are new authors. Two of them my best friend, Jenn has read and recommend to me. She knows me pretty good and knows what I like and don't so I can't wait to start them!

Books and Dewey's Read A Thon

So far this year, of the 10 authors I've picked to read this year, I've completed 4, Victoria Laurie, Jasmine Cresswell, Lora Leigh and Carla Neggers. I'm actually working on my 5th author, Susan Elizabeth Phillips. Out of the 4 authors, I absolutely loved Victoria Laurie, Jasmine Cresswell and Carla Neggers. So 3 of 4 authors were a hit.  

I have started a book by Christine Lynxwiler but haven't completed it yet. 

Dewey's 24 hour read-a-thon is coming up on April 27, 2013  - Woo Hoo  Absolutely can't wait. I absolutely love participating in this especially with my best friend and her husband.
